Will servicing my car at Sunnybank Signature Service Car Care void my new car warranty?

No, under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 you have the freedom to have your car serviced by any service provider. A vehicle manufacturer can’t specify a particular dealer nor void a warranty if a vehicle is serviced outside the dealer network.

What is the difference between genuine, OEM and aftermarket parts?

A genuine part is a part that was originally put in the vehicle when it was new and has the car manufacturer’s logo on it. An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part is a part built by the same company that built the original product for the car manufacturer but doesn’t have the car maker’s logo. An aftermarket part is a part for a vehicle that is not sourced from the car’s maker and is generally cheaper.

Can you source aftermarket parts for my car?

For new cars under warranty we recommend using genuine parts, but we’re happy to source aftermarket parts for your vehicle if needed.

What qualifications do your technicians have?

All of our technicians are fully-qualified and have factory training in European vehicle servicing and repairs. Our master technician, diagnostic technician and registered technicians bring decades of knowledge and experience to the team.

How long will my service take?

A service can take from approximately 1.5 hours up to a day, depending on whether we have the parts on hand or can order them in quickly and whether your vehicle is due for a minor or major service.

Do you provide loan cars while my car is being serviced?

Yes, we can offer a Loan Car hire option (at additional charge) so you can get to work or run errands whilst your car is being serviced. We also offer a convenient local drop off and pick up service.

What if I want to wait for my car to be ready?

We welcome you to wait and enjoy our comfortable customer lounge. Please advise us at the time of booking if you would like to wait so we can schedule your vehicle in accordingly.

Are you open on the weekend?

We open Saturdays by appointment only.

I don’t have a European car. Can you still provide servicing and repairs?

Yes, we can service all other Makes and Models of vehicles.
